What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a marketing funnel and why should every marketer online make one?

It's a strategy for marketing designed to attract new customers to your website. It's a sales process by which a person comes to your blog seeking information that could aid in solving a specific issue. It is possible to build a rapport by using specific tools.

This will help you know the wants and needs of every visitor. This will enable you to provide the most relevant information to all your users. If you gain the trust of a visitor, they will be more likely to buy your products. The customer will then turn into a customer.

Many customers eventually become extremely loyal customers and will buy almost any product your website sells. A marketing funnel outlines the steps involved in turning a visitor to your website into a client who will return to you for future purchases.

This is the ultimate goal. A well-designed funnel will achieve this very quickly.

Your promotional materials are now drawing attention of people and leading them to your funnel. Once they complete the form that you have on your PERSONAL Lead Capture Page they are able to enter your funnel. Since no one will sign up on your company's lead capture page, I've declared it "personal". They are looking to be a leader and not a company.

The page for lead capture is the entrance into the funnel - when they click the "Sign up Now" or "Enter Here" button, they are entered into a whole new concept in network marketing.

The best aspect is that they are qualifying themselves to be able to do it. It's up to them. They don't have anything to offer you other than yourself as a leader and mentor, and as someone who can help to increase leads for their business.

This is how an advertising funnel functions.

At the "front-end" you can offer a free offer to attract and qualify people who may be interested in purchasing your products further down the sales funnel. To get access to the product for free, users must sign up (also known as opt-in) and give their email address as well as their name which in turn will be added to your email list.

Now, you have these contacts in your email list and you can offer them similar offers that might interest them.

After signing to the offer, the user will be directed to a webpage that provides a low price or what is known as a tripwire offer. At this point, they will be taken to the "back end" of your funnel.

The purchaser are taken to another related offer at less cost when they buy the lower-cost offer (also called an upsell). A person who also purchases the lower priced offer will be taken to the next similar product at an even more expensive price. The process could continue for several more.
